Man can't withdraw guilty plea, sentenced to 30 years in rape, kidnap case

HAMILTON â€" After denying William Manis’ request to withdraw his guilty plea, Butler County Common Pleas Judge Noah Powers sentenced the 44-year-old Hamilton man to 30 years in prison for holding a woman captive for 10 days and repeatedly raping her.Manis was also label today, March 8, by the judge as a Tier III sex offender. He faced a possible 110 years in prison.
